Menaheles
Goldie Margolin School for Girls, the girls high school division of Margolin Hebrew Academy, is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and visionary leader who is inspired by the opportunity to help each girl develop her potential as a well-rounded Bas Yisroel. Through academic excellence in both Judaic and general studies, a commitment to Torah learning and Torah living, and love of Hashem, the Jewish People, and the State of Israel, our school prides itself in producing young women who are knowledgeable and informed, as well as passionate about their unique role in the Jewish community and the world at large. This role requires a strong background as an educator who is creative and knowledgeable in educational practices. Working closely with the Head of School, Lead High School Menahel, and the rest of the high school administrative team, the menaheles will provide leadership, direction, and oversight in all areas, and serve as a role model to the school’s faculty, staff, student body, and community. GMSG’s students are mostly local, but it does boast a dormitory for out-of-town students as well. The school is located in Memphis, TN, a warm, growing, ‘out-of-town’ community. Memphis has many of the Jewish amenities of a larger locale, while maintaining the warmth unique to smaller communities. The school is well placed in the heart of the neighborhood, near shuls, two Kollelim, and a kosher bakery, and includes preschool, elementary, and yeshiva boys high school divisions as well. If you have the motivation, skill set, and experience to take GMSG to new heights, we encourage you to please reach out for further details.
Candidates can contact Rabbi Heshy Glass, National Chairman, CoJDS, at hglass@cojds.org or Rabbi Yisroel Weiner, Margolin Hebrew Academy-Finestone Yeshiva of The South Head of School, at yisroel.weiner@mhafyos.org.
