Head of School
Temima, The Richard & Jean Katz High School for Girls, is seeking an experienced and visionary leader who is inspired by the opportunity to help each girl develop her potential as a Bas Yisroel. After twenty-five years the founding principal, Mrs. Miriam Feldman is retiring and the school seeks a seasoned, dynamic leader to chart the course of the school. Through academic excellence in both Limudei Kodesh as well as general studies, our school prides itself in producing young women that are knowledgeable and informed, as well as passionate about their unique role in the Jewish home, community, and world at large. This role requires a strong background as an educator who is creative and knowledgeable in educational practices. The head of school will provide leadership and serve as a role model to the school’s faculty, staff, student body and community, as well as overseeing all aspects of the school operations.
Temima’s students are mostly local, with a small group of out-of-town boarders. The school is in Atlanta, GA, a warm thriving, growing, ‘out of town’ community. Atlanta has all the Jewish amenities of a large city, while maintaining a חֵן that is unique to smaller communities. Temima is well placed in the heart of the neighborhood, near shuls, a Kollel, kosher food establishments, a day school, and a yeshiva. If you have the motivation, skill set, and experience to take Temima to new heights, please reach out for further details.
