General Studies Principal
Founded in 1965, The Phoenix Hebrew Academy is a dual-curriculum private Jewish school located in north-central Phoenix, Arizona. We are seeking a dynamic general studies administrator to join our senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will have over ten years of education experience, including at least five years in administration and a graduate degree. This position reports directly to the Head of School.
Working closely with the Head of School, the general studies principal will
· Inspire Academic Excellence
· Oversee early literacy programs
· Oversee the Elementary and Middle School curriculum
· Conduct observations of and provide feedback to teaching staff
· Provide strong mentorship to teaching staff in advancing their classroom management skills and overall professional development
The Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate should hold at least a Master’s degree or equivalent, be thoroughly knowledgeable in early literacy and elementary and middle school curricula, have strong mentorship and PD skills in pedagogy and classroom management, and be a proven team player.
